Who am I? Allow me to properly introduce myself. I'm Zed, known to some as "raisin." I'm miniature, multilingual, maximalist to the max, and a MAJOR sugarholic. I was born in a little hospital in the suburbs of Toronto at the end of the millennium, in spring.
Where am I? Physically, I reside in a dingy city (where my family is originally from) in the middle of North Africa. But mentally, I'm still in a basement in southern Canada, 2011, watching Lucky Star in 480p on YouTube and drinking ginger ale.
What am I? In the Real World, I'm a way past cool, upbeat school teacher by day (or so my kiddos tell me) and a lazy, loafing loser weeb by summer nights. I'm also an artist, designer, and author, and have been drawing and writing since the day I could properly hold a pencil. But my true form exists here in the digital realm; an odd being made up of artificial flavouring, glitter, and cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.
What do I love? Well, I love so many things, I can't even remember them all. I love old anime and manga, old video and PC games, cheese, milk, chocolate, candy, cats, catgirls/catboys, frogs, turtles, moe, stickers, bright colours (especially purple, pink, blue, and yellow) but also the colour black, visual novels, otoge, goofy graphic T-shirts, kawaii culture, cloudy skies that look like the XP wallpaper Bliss, sparkly things, fluffy things, Sonic, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Little Pony, Vocaloid, Pokemon, Kirby, Tamagotchis, Care Bears, old Web/PCs/software, Gyaru culture, strawberries, Scene culture, Gothic and Sweet Lolita, Creepypasta, rainbows, magical girls and their wands, "childish things", ginger ale, and generally being weird (in a good way!)
What do I hate? Zionists, cockroaches, spiders, and keeping up with current-day trends. Oh, and chickpeas.
Why am I called "raisin," you might ask? Well, when I was born, my mother said I was terribly tiny and shriveled up. Nothing fit me, threw up everything I ate (a picky eater since birth!) and just an all-around fragile wee lass. Turns out it wasn't just an infant phase, and here I am, still tiny and shriveled up and sporting a killer baby face even at my old age. I just stopped growing completely when I was 11. Looks like my childhood wish of never growing up came true, haha! And so, I've since been nicknamed raisin, and I decided to incorporate that into my online presence, thus my webpage and a few of my online handles go by Raizinc0re! =D The "z" is because of my real name, and the "0" is because "raizincore" with the letter "O" was already taken on Pinterest :P (but it looks cooler with a zero, anyways.)
